Study suggests rising CO2 in the past caused global warming


A paper in Nature shows how increased CO2 in the atmosphere led to warming – rather than the other way round.

Abstract: This article explains that a paper published on Wednesday in the journal Nature shows that increase in carbon dioxide levels in the atmosphere contributed to Global warming.


Extract: « It means we must arrest carbon dioxide emissions released by the combustion of fossil fuels if humanity wishes to avoid triggering these sorts of feedbacks in our modern world. »

In France we enjoy Poisson d'Avril !

 On April 1st, The French join the world wide attempt at fooling friends.  The holiday is called Poisson d’Avril (Fish of April).  Friends play practical jokes on each other, and children try to put paper poissons (fish) on the backs of unsuspecting friends and adults. [...] Around this time of year, you can find a number of Chocolatiers selling a variety of Chocolate shaped fish --- so one way or another, participate in the festive day by either being a 'Poisson d’Avril' or eating one !
