Abstract : This article presents an event, “Le Diner des
Grands Chefs”, which will takes place on Monday 16 April 2012, at Gotham Hall,
1356 Broadway, at 36th street, New York City.
Quotation : “Established in
France over 50 years ago, Relais & Châteaux has become a renowned reference
of excellence in the hotel and restaurant world. Expanding on this platform of
excellence, the organization selected a group of “Grands Chefs” that typify the
cream of the crop in the culinary world, including Daniel Boulud, Gary Danko,
Barbara Lynch, Patrick O’Connell and Jean-Georges Vongerichten
In 2011, the Grands Chefs met at the Palace of
Versailles to celebrate French gastronomy entry into UNESCO’s World Heritage
list. The idea of a World Culinary Tour was born and each stage of the tour
supports a very worthy cause.
For the second dinner, 45 Relais & Châteaux Grands
Chefs from around the world will gather in New York City on April 16 to create
an array of flavors, celebrating the finest produce to be found in America. 450
guests will have the pleasure of savoring dishes created by three Grands Chefs,
accompanied by the most superb wines.
