Spanish police remove 'indignant' protesters

Abstract : Describes a demonstration that happened in Madrid on December the 6th. Explains the reasons of it and the historic of the "indignant" movement.


Extract : "About 2,000 thousand people demonstrated in downtown Madrid to protest the eviction of the Hotel Madrid that, from October 15, had been occupied by squatters related to the 'indignant' movement and housed several families evicted from their homes for nonpayment

After reading a manifesto against the eviction of the Hotel Madrid and confronting the police in several occasions, the anti-capitalist protesters left Sol Square to take to the main streets of the city, where they cut the traffic and did several sit-in."
