Abstract :

   Is about the first Iranian film festival that takes place at Světozor in Prague. The aim of this festival is to give a better vision of the Iran society and to show the importance of the women in Iranian cinema as well as actresses as movie directors. This festival deals with three categories of films : feature film, documentary and short film.

"Portraying a realistic image of Iranian women … opens the doors to a better understanding of [Iranian] society as a whole," says Torang Daneshmand, executive director of Tokada Productions, the organizer of the festival.
